What is an RF Signal Generator?

A Radio Frequency (RF) signal generator is a device that behaves as a stable local oscillator signal, generating different types of modulated signals. There are various factors to consider before reaching a final decision on the right RF signal generator, such as:

Model 845

RF signal generators can also be used to accurately ascertain the functionality of phased array antennas and beam steering. Specifically, signal generators designed by BNC consist of dual independent channels that enable separate control of frequency, phase, and amplitude on each channel.
