The -32DIG option adds 32 digital output channels to Berkeley Nucleonics AWG models (686, 685, 685C, 675), but whether it meets your needs depends on your signal requirements. Digital channels output binary high/low patterns — ideal for clock signals, trigger patterns, serial data streams, and digital protocol testing. If your application requires 32 channels of complex analog waveforms (sine, arbitrary, modulated signals), digital outputs will not work. For high-channel-count analog output, you would need to synchronize multiple AWG units — up to 4 units can be linked for a maximum of 32 analog channels. Contact Berkeley Nucleonics to discuss your channel count and signal type requirements.
