High Resolution SrI2(Eu) Strontium Iodide Scintillators

Europium doped Strontium Iodide scintillators feature very high light yields and excellent performance over a broad range of energies. Srl2(Eu) crystals are inherently free of intrinsic radioactivity resulting in a reduction of background activity and fewer false peaks.

Overview 

Srl2(Eu) scintillators are currently available in sizes up to 38 x 38 mm. The material is hygroscopic is offered by BNC encapsulated with an entrance window or optically coupled to a light sensor with optional analog electronics.
