Comparison Chart (pdf)

Berkeley Nucleonics' Model 835-6 is a low-noise, fast-switching analog signal generator that covers a frequency range from 9 kHz up to 6.1 GHz.

The Model 835-6 provides full RF signal generator capabilities including OCXO-stabilized low phase noise signal with micro-Hz frequency resolution, wide and accurately leveled output power ranges, extensive modulation capabilities, and fast switching. It is targeted for a wide range of applications where high-quality analogue signals are mandatory, and provides an excellent, cost-effective alternative to expensive high-end RF signal generators with a small size and excellent RF performance.

The extremely compact, rugged and fanless design of the Model 835-6 operates at very low DC power consumption (only 12 watts), with minor heat dissipation. Additionally, the low power design allows the use of optional internal battery modules which make it a truly portable instrument, ideally suited for field testing, installation, and maintenance.
