About Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation

Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation (BNC) was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in San Rafael, California. The company maintains additional offices across the United States and works through a network of international representatives, so customers can find sales and support close to home.

BNC designs and builds precision electronic instrumentation for test, measurement, and nuclear research. That work spans the demanding requirements of laboratories, production floors, and field deployments, where accuracy and repeatability matter as much as raw performance.

About This Book

This volume is part of the Berkeley Nucleonics "Nuts and Bolts" series, a set of practical guides written for engineers and operators who want a working understanding of a technology rather than a survey of it. This book covers high power pulse generators, from the underlying physics to the topologies, diagnostics, and applications that put pulsed power to work.

Companion learning is available through the BNC Academy at academy.berkeleynucleonics.com, where short courses pair with the text to reinforce the core principles.

Product specifics named throughout this book, including model numbers, performance figures, and feature sets, should be verified against the current datasheet before any design or purchasing decision.
